Maybelline "Fit Me!" Foundation in 110. £7.99 Boots
I've been looking for a cheap HG foundation and I think I may of found it in Maybelline's Fit Me range! I mean hello, a foundation that matches my yellow undertones for less than 10 English pounds?! I have had my eye on this for a while however I had never seen or heard of any shades below 120 for rose/beige skin tones so when I saw this, how could I not pick it up!
The consistency is quite runny - it's far too runny for a sponge, you can use a brush for this however for the first few days wear I felt far safer using clean finger tips. The finish is semi matte and very similar to Revlon's Colour Stay for oil/combo skin but I feel it is far lighter on the skin, it's medium coverage but it is fairy buildable - I also use a lighter dusting of powder with a brush instead of a sponge to set this foundation. The lasting power with this is pretty good too, with just a little dusting of powder it will easily last all day at work.
I feel this is a perfect festival foundation, although you do have to get to grips with just how runny it is compared to most high street foundations as I'm not going to cry if I lose the bottle, it stays on all day and for me at least is a "my skin but better" foundation!
