I love nail varnish, it is without doubt my favourite item of make up. I have pretty much every shade and colour and I pretty sure I have the majority of brands, too! I popped into tescos to get some pineapple and avocados and saw these little beauties on 3 for 2, you can't not take full advantage of an offer like this! I usually wear classic reds, darks and nudes so I though I best skip right on out there and buy 3 colours I would never consider buying usually. I purchased:
- 342 - Coral Craze - This is a coral which is actually far more pink. It is almost a dusty medium pink. I like this colour a lot, but I don't feel I could ever wear it until the sun showed his much missed face.
- 150 - Mauve Kiss - This isn't mauve! It's brown, in the bottle it looks far lighter and 'nude' but in actual fact is just a light purple brown.
- 651 - Cool Blue - I've worn this the past few days, and the wear has been very good. It's probably my favourite colour because it is not a dark blue nor a pastel blue, it is a sunny sky kind of blue, it's improving my mood ten fold.
Overall, these nail varnishes for their size (7ml) and their consistency, are horrifically good value for money. The colour does not fade and it is not impaired by a top coat. You only need two coats, I did my best to only use two coats to show you what it looks like! My only concern is that they do dry pretty quickly, you can already see by the last photo on the bottom left that some varnish has dried around the top of the bottle and it's like a ticking time bomb as to when it's going to eventually crust over and stick the lid to the bottle!
